Angela Lipko

Angela Lipko is a Destination Management Certified Professional in Las Vegas with extensive experience in large scale event operations and logistics.

Angela has explored the events world starting with non-profit fundraising and media relations, then moving on to social events and weddings, followed by corporate incentives and meetings, culminating in festival, concert and large event operations where she managed teams of hospitality crew, security, ticketing, and service staff to produce city-wide productions. Angela is also heavily involved in the arts. She’s a singer and dancer, a movie fanatic, and a musical theater junkie.

Nichole Louviaux

Nancy Medoff

Nancy is an innovative hospitality executive best known for developing award-winning sales teams and industry leaders.

Over her twenty three year career with Marriott International, Nancy has been an Operations and Sales expert leading global and regional teams. As Director, Northeast Group Sales Nancy has primary leadership responsibility for Marriott’s Northeast Group Sales Team consisting of seventy-five sales associates and $300 million direct sales revenue to thirty-four full service hotels in five major Northeast Markets.

Nancy is a travel aficionado and fitness ninja. As a two-time Marathoner and avid Soul-Cycle enthusiast she views life as an ongoing journey to evolve your personal brand and find your soul.


Karen DeKanter

Karen is dedicated to the business development of event to enterprise-based solutions for Fortune 500 clients and prospects at BCD Meetings & Events. She has worked in several facets of the travel industry including hotel sales and leadership at the property and global level, hotel technology, and sales of Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) and event services for a global agency. Karen is an active member of GBTA (Global Business Travel Association) and WINiT ( and has participated in many educational panel discussions across the industry. Her favorite city in the world is Paris and while she loves to travel she wishes someone else would pack for her.

Louann Cashill

In her current role with TCG Consulting, Louann is a Practice Leader in the Global Hotel & Meetings Category.  Louann focusing on providing expertise in support of strategic projects to optimize global meetings programs and business travel hotel sourcing.  Previously, Louann has held positions with StarCite (now Lanyon).  Prior to StarCite, Louann led Toyota’s meeting services and strategic hotel sourcing teams, managed meetings and tradeshows for Amgen, held senior-level positions in luxury hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton and Le Méridien and worked with Tony Robbins as Director of Production.

Louann has served on several industry boards, is a frequent speaker and contributor to industry events and articles, was named an Industry Changemaker by Corporate Meetings and Incentives and appeared on the cover of its March 2009 edition.

Kaaren Hamilton

Kaaren Hamilton is Vice President, Global Sales for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. In this position, Ms. Hamilton oversees the North American based global sales organization. and leads a dynamic sales organization of senior global sales directors and is responsible for significant annual revenue.

Ms. Hamilton has over 20 years of experience in the meetings industry including direct corporate planning experience as well as many different roles as a supplier to the industry. She has a passion for the meeting industry and is driven to constantly elevate its professionalism and make meeting strategies an integral part of the overall organizational success.

Margie McCartney

Margie McCartney is a native New Yorker who has called Chicago home for the past 26 years. A road warrior and Global Sales Director for AlliedPRA Destination Management Company, she handles a variety of clients in the Midwest, Northeast and DC area. She is a ten year veteran at AlliedPRA and started with the organization when it was still PRA in 2005.

Ms. McCartney spent several years in the hotel business  both in NYC and in Chicago before joining a hospitality industry  association for five years in Chicago. In the early 2000’s she joined the ranks of a hotel rep firm and then got recruited back into the DMC world, which she has remained in till this day. In 2011 she was awarded the Pillar award by her peers in the Chicago Chapter of Professional Conference Managers Association in recognition of her unyielding support through dedicated participation, enthusiastic committee involvement and leadership. In 2014, she won the MPI Supplier of the Year in the Chicago Chapter after serving on their board for 3 years.

An avid sports fan, Margie met her husband Gary Phillips watching a Cubs vs Cardinals game in May 2008.  They have their Cubs post-season tickets and are hopeful that the Cubs are still playing baseball the week of IMEX.


Claire Repass

Claire Repass, CMP is the Manager of Communications at Social Tables, where she oversees meetings, content and industry relations. She serves as committee chair for the MPI Rocky Mountain chapter and Women In Travel (WINiT), and has been recognized for her commitment to the industry by being named to C​onnect Magazine’s 4​0 Under 40 list, and nominated as both a P​CMA 2​0 in Their 20’s, and a 25 Young Event Professionals to Watch by S​pecial Events Magazine.
