FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – WINiT HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE IRS AS A 501(c)(3) NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION

We are proud to announce that WINIT has been approved by the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) with non-profit 501(c)(3) status, recognized as a charitable and educational organization.

We are very pleased that this approval has been received ahead of the mid-year 2015 anticipated timeframe we initially reported to our Board of Directors and Donors.  I think that this speaks volumes to the dedication of our volunteers –  Founding Leaders and 2015 Leadership Team – and the belief and support of our Donors in the WINiT mission.  We are honored and humbled by their partnership and we know that together we will change the landscape of the travel, events and meeting industries for women.

WINiT continues to be on track or ahead of schedule with the initiatives we first published in January 2014.  Our 2015 initiatives, led by the WINiT Mentor Program, Job Board, Resume Posting and Quarterly WINiT Classroom events, have continued the laser focus on our mission statement. Our group membership has exceeded 1,500 to date and we welcome our latest Donors, Best Western and Ovation Travel, to the WINiT team.
